Elomelo Studio is a small studio based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It has grown out of the work of CAFFE (Computers Are Free For Everyone) a UK charity that has been providing computer education to young people from low-income families.
Our goal is to create income earning opportunities for students and interns through game development, graphic design as well as web and app development.
We want to make fun experiences for a variety of ages and abilities. Being based in Bangladesh, we also seek to promote diversity and share something of the local history and culture in our work.
In addition to creating enjoyable games and products, our mission is to create income earning opportunities for students and interns through game development, graphic design as well as web and app development. We have already had experience of seeing how learning these skills can lift someone out of poverty with young freelancers now earning 3 to 5 times as much as their parents’ generation.
We are also seeking to promote game development in our local community by holding meet-ups, game jams and help sessions for anyone interested in creating their own games.
